Very occasionally no image is available due to circumstances beyond our control - it usually comes back after a while. Weather Station: Check the date and time of updates (text above webcam image) if the data is not flowing, the most recent data will be displayed. Roll your mouse over the text descriptions on the graphs and dials to read more about them. Click 'Graphs' for a wider range of data periods from 'live' to one year. Click 'Units' to change your preferred units - you can save your preferences. If the page is not working correctly please email to Which instruments are useful? Which ones don't we need? 14 November 09 08:00 Added link to Met Office forecast (and current) rainfall radar
09 July 09 08:00 In the mornings the webcam image often shows a white 'burnt out' image of the sky with the ground exposed correctly. To get a decent image of the sky in the morning, click on the image to open the webcam site and adjust the exposure using the [- STD + ] controls at top left of that window. Similarly if later in the day the image seems dark, try clicking STD to reset the camera. Also changed the Rainfall graph to show Humidity since this is more useful IMO. Comments? PS 07 July 09 07:00 Changed the 4 graphs all to the same time frame as I suspect they may be easier and more interesting to compare e.g. do wind direction and barometer change at same time? |
